ATA - MET TECHNICIAN
About You:
You must have extended knowledge and skillset to align any vehicle body and chassis and all related suspension components. This includes compliancy in diagnostics, air-conditioning, computer systems and preferably EV Vehicles. (training will be supported on EV). As technology continues to progress it is essential for this role to complete annual training/accreditations on site or at Manufacturer training centres. This includes Electric/Hybrid training to enhance skillset due to the growing popularity and ever-evolving vehicles. You must have the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment without compromising the vehicles safety. Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount either working alone or as part of a team.
Clean driving license required for manoeuvring vehicles on site and road tests.
About the Job:
As an experienced MET Technician you must carry out all the necessary mechanical, electrical and body work on allocated jobs. This involves dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop, carrying out inspections, fault-finding and diagnostic work. Then re-assembling the vehicle following strict manufacturer methods with new parts as required to pre-accident condition. There are safety-critical procedures and tooling when handling or working on EV vehicles.
Perfect Paint continually invest in market leading equipment to include four wheel alignment Hunter equipment (Geometry) and ADAS autonomous driving resets / cameras, diagnostics, air-conditioning units and EV tooling.

Salary: up to £45k per annum subject to skills and experience (overtime available)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.00-4.30p.m. and Friday 8.00 – 4.00 p.m. (39.50 Hours)
Holidays: 29 days holiday including public holidays plus additional days with service
